The field leader of the Contra unit. Major Bill Rizer hails from a family with a long military history, and possesses exceptional physical strength, agility, and mental fortitude.
LANCE BEAN
HEADBANDED HERO
In addition to having a strong mind and body, Major Lance Bean is an expert marksman and skilled with machinery. Was active as a guerrilla fighter before being recruited.
ARIANA
ISLAND WARRIOR
A tremendously skilled warrior native to the Galuga Archipelago. Her people have guarded the island's temple since ancient times.

SPREAD SHOT
A classic! Fire three shots at once or five when stacked.
FLAME WEAPON
Make your enemies roasted or extra-crispy. High damage per second.
LASER BEAM
A piercing energy weapon. When stacked, it chains between enemies.

HOMING MISSILES
Four drones appear, temporarily helping you attack enemies.
BARRIER
Surround yourself with a barrier that protects against all attacks.

STORY MODE
Experience the full, explosive story of Contra: Operation Galuga with one or two players. Blast through eight stages while meeting new characters and uncovering the shocking truth behind the Galuga invasion.
ARCADE MODE
Jump straight into the action without cutscenes or dialogue! You can use any unlocked characters in this classic-style mode for up to four players. Bosses may also have additional attacks.
CHALLENGE MODE
Test your skills with 30 tough missions! Speedrun through stages, fight with limited ammo, survive relentless enemy hordes, and more.

How do I enable cross-platform multiplayer?
Head to Settings → Network and toggle "Crossplay". Make sure all players own the same DLC packs to avoid compatibility issues.
Why does my controller feel unresponsive?
Check the in-game deadzone settings. Lower values make inputs more sensitive. You can also calibrate your controller via your system settings.
Can I transfer my save between platforms?
